⁷ He said, “Pick it up.” So he stretched out his hand and grabbed it.

Aramean Ambush. ⁸ Now the king of Aram was fighting against Israel. He conferred with his servants saying, “I will set up my camp over there.”

⁹ The man of God sent word to the king of Israel, saying, “Beware of passing by that place, for the Arameans have gone down there.”
